Building InspectionS
What is a building report?
A document which has been produced by a qualified expert who has visually inspected all accessible areas of the property including the interior and exterior of the house, the sub floor, roof cavity, roof exterior, all out buildings, grounds, retaining walls and fences within 30 metres of the main dwelling. Our building reports provide you with an easy to understand, detailed description and explanation of the major defects of the main dwelling and its surrounding areas and any action required. The property will be given an overall rating; the inspector will compare the property to similar properties in context to age, type of construction and level of maintenance.
Why you need a building report?
Without consulting a qualified expert, you are at risk of purchasing a property that could incur future liabilities and unexpected expenses. A building report provides you with detailed knowledge of the properties’ major defects and gives you a greater understanding of the structural integrity of the property overall. This allows you to make the most informed decision when purchasing a property and provides greater peace of mind.
HPI will provide you with a comprehensive report which generally complies with the Australian Standard AS4349.1 2007.
